compensation rate: $15.50/hr

• ensure a safe environment for all ambassadors, guests, and animals.
• responsible for the development of ojt’s and ambassadors by providing training, feedback, and coaching.
• ensure compliance to all state/federal regulations, park policies, and department procedures.
• maintain the highest level of cleanliness in the park, conduct quality inspections of assigned areas, and follow up on opportunities to improve.
• respond to guest and ambassador needs.
• report to supervisors and managers regarding the status of projects.
• oversee completion of daily opening and closing procedures.
• utilize problem solving skills to ensure positive guest resolutions as needed.
• oversee assigned area.
• ensure strict adherence to all cash handling procedures.
• perform other miscellaneous tasks as required.

• be at least 18 years old.
• have a valid high school diploma or equivalent.
• valid driver’s license and meet company driving guidelines.
• provide excellent guest service to guests and ambassadors.
• remain calm and professional during challenging situations.
• comfortable speaking in front of large groups of guests and team members.
• provide approved footwear upon first day of employment.
• have a minimum of three months of park experience or equivalent external leadership experience.
• successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements.
• perform job duties and meet minimum qualifications within scope of supervision.
• have a working knowledge of english with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• have working knowledge of microsoft office applications.
• excellent computer skills, ability to work multiple selling systems preferred.
• operate in a cash handling environment, previous cash handling experience preferred.
• walk and stand for long periods and work extreme weather conditions.
• work flexible schedule including weekdays, weekends, evenings and holidays.
• at least 3 days of unrestricted availability including weekends with one day between friday–sunday during non-peak season.
• at least 4 days of unrestricted availability including weekends with one day between friday–sunday during peak season.
• practice safe work habits and use ppe, lift and report unsafe situations.
• comply with sea grooming guidelines and employment standards.
• lift 25 pounds and push/pull 50 pounds.
• climb stairs.
• bend, sit, stand, squat, stoop, walk, kneel, reach with hands and arms at shoulder level or below, climb and reach with hands and arms above shoulder level.
• bend and stoop to assist in cleaning the park.
• complete provided cpr/aed training/certification.
