Night Auditor-Marriott Hotel

Courtyard by Marriott Tampa Northwest is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Night Auditor. You will oversee the front desk overnight, assist guests, and complete the hotel's daily financial close. This position requires accuracy, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently.

• Welcome guests and handle overnight check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and requests.
• Review daily transactions, reconcile payments, verify postings, and investigate discrepancies.
• Complete the night audit, close the business day, and prepare accurate reports for management.
• Review guest accounts and balances. Document unresolved issues for follow-up.
• Answer phone calls and provide information about the hotel and local area.
• Respond calmly to guest concerns, noise complaints, and unexpected situations. Follow hotel emergency procedures and contact management when needed.
• Follow payment, guest privacy, and security procedures.
• Keep the front desk organized and provide a clear handoff to the morning team.

• Dependability and the ability to stay alert and productive throughout an overnight shift.
• Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and comfort working with financial reports.
• Friendly, professional communication and a service-focused attitude.
• The ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions independently.
• Comfort using computers and learning hotel systems.
• Availability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Previous night audit or hotel front desk experience is preferred. Marriott experience is a plus.
