Human Resources Business Partner – Humani HR

Location:

Tampa, Florida
Base pay range: $80,000 – $100,000 per year
Full‑time, hybrid work model (primarily remote with onsite support as needed)

Humani HR is a boutique Human Resources consulting firm serving small and medium‑size businesses. We provide fractional HR partnership, supporting clients with policy development, HR software implementation, performance management, compensation strategy, training, employee relations, HR operations, and more.

About You and the Role

The HR Business Partner will be the go‑to advisor for multiple clients across multiple jurisdictions and industries. You will help clients solve complex people and culture challenges with customized solutions. A strong knowledge of U.S. employment law (especially across California and New York) and experience in client and project management are essential.

What You Will Do
  • Serve as the primary HR business partner for multiple clients across jurisdictions.
  • Analyze current HR programs and design an HR roadmap tailored to each engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Develop, review, and apply HR policies and procedures.
  • Lead complex compensation projects and perform data analytics.
  • Evaluate HR software and processes, and spearhead HRIS implementation when required.
  • Design and refine performance management processes based on best practices.
  • Create compensation plans using market data and industry standards.
  • Manage employee relations issues as they arise.
  • Coach and mentor management and staff.
  • Develop and deliver HR‑related training sessions.
  • Attend virtual and in‑person meetings with client executives and employees.
  • Act as lead relationship manager between Humani and client C‑suite.
Your Skill Set
  • Employment Law & Legislation: Strong knowledge of U.S. employment law across multiple states; union/labor relations experience a plus.
  • Analytical & Problem‑Solving: Ability to absorb complex client information, develop clear recommendations, and execute solutions.
  • Time Management: Manage time to meet deadlines within client budgets.
  • Communication & Interpersonal: Skilled at engaging with a wide range of executives and employees.
  • Organizational: Deliver structured, efficient solutions.
  • Data Analysis: Meticulous with data, documents, and reports.
  • Relationship Management: Proactively identify opportunities and implement solutions with multiple stakeholders.
  • Technology: Comfortable with new tech, especially spreadsheets and presentations; proficiency with Google Workspace is helpful.
  • HR Software: Adaptable to various client HR systems.
  • Project Management: Knowledge of PM principles; change management experience desirable.
Who You Are
  • Minimum 5+ years of client‑facing HR business partner experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years managing work deliverables within an HR team.
  • Degree or diploma in HR or a related field.
  • Professional HR designation preferred.
  • True Passion for HR: Experience building HR systems from scratch and staying current with trends.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to create client‑ready deliverables.
  • Creative thinker with an outside‑the‑box mindset.
  • Self‑motivated and disciplined; able to work independently.
