Role Overview:
The HR Generalist supports Human Resources functions across assigned properties, including recruitment, associate relations, compensation, benefits administration, and compliance.

The position is a Hybrid role based in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as HR contact for assigned properties, responding to associate and management inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local HR requirements (FMLA, I-9, EEO, FCRA).
  • Assist with associate relation counseling and support counseling of policies and handbooks.
  • Maintain the Human Resource Information System.
  • Partner with HR Corporate on training, development, compensation, and benefits transactions.
  • Administer recruiting process for properties, posting ads, reviewing applications, scheduling interviews, and completing background checks.
  • Coordinate onboarding process, new hire orientation, and documentation.
  • Coordinate termination process, conduct exit interviews, and complete required documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience (3-5 years).
  • Professional conduct with high personal, ethical standards.
  • Ability to maintain workflow and meet schedules; notify supervisor of issues.
  • Participation in meetings and work groups to resolve problems and maintain knowledge of policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Safety compliance and adherence to all policies and SOPs.
  • Perform special projects, tasks and duties assigned.
  • Visit assigned properties as required.
Travel

Work involves driving/traveling to properties.
