The Senior Payroll & HR Generalist is responsible for managing and supporting the organization’s payroll operations and a broad range of HR functions. This position serves as a key resource for employees, managers, and leadership, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with applicable federal and state regulations, and effective administration of HR programs and processes.

The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, confidential, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Strong experience with ADP Workforce Now (WFN) and Deltek is required, along with the ability to troubleshoot payroll, HRIS, benefits, and employee-data issues.

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process for exempt and non-exempt employees, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
• Process regular, off-cycle, supplemental, and bonus payrolls as needed.
• Review payroll data for accuracy, including hours worked, overtime, deductions, earnings, taxes, benefits, and other payroll adjustments.
• Maintain and audit employee payroll records and ensure accurate data flow between HR, payroll, benefits, and timekeeping systems.
• Administer payroll processes in ADP Workforce Now (WFN), including employee changes, payroll processing, reporting, and troubleshooting.
• Utilize Deltek for timekeeping, project-related labor data, payroll support, and/or related HR and accounting processes.
• Reconcile payroll reports, payroll registers, tax information, and benefit deductions.
• Research and resolve payroll discrepancies and employee payroll questions.
• Coordinate payroll tax filings and related compliance activities with internal teams and external vendors.
• Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll requirements.
• Support year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation, reconciliations, and audits.

• Serve as a primary HR resource for employees and managers regarding HR policies, procedures, payroll, benefits, leave, and general employee questions.
• Manage employee lifecycle transactions, including new hires, onboarding, transfers, promotions, status changes, and terminations.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in the HRIS.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes and ensure required documentation is completed.
• Support employee relations activities and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
• Assist with performance management, employee documentation, and disciplinary processes as appropriate.
• Support HR compliance activities, audits, and reporting.
• Assist with development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.
• Support the administration of medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement benefits.
