Network Field Engineer

We are seeking several experienced WIFI Network Installers to join our team. Our installation team travels throughout the US installing new systems for hotels, resorts, casinos, student housing, and more. This role requires almost full-time travel (approximately 85% out-of-state and 15% local Central Florida). The company pays for travel and provides per diems.

• Implement wired and wireless network infrastructure for hospitality clients
• Install and configure wireless networks
• Perform network troubleshooting and diagnosis of wireless connectivity issues throughout the installation process
• Design and implement VLANs, subnets, and routing to support wireless infrastructure
• Configure firewalls and routers to secure wireless networks
• Configure managed switches (HP and Cisco experience preferred)
• Install low-voltage cabling for wireless infrastructure
• Provide onsite support and training for hotel staff and management
• Collaborate with other teams within the organization to ensure successful network deployment and documentation

• CCNA certification or equivalent level of knowledge is required
• Experience in installing and configuring wireless networks
• Experience in VLAN design and configuration
• Experience in subnetting and routing
• Experience in firewall and router configuration
• Experience in configuring managed switches
• Experience in low-voltage cable running, termination, testing, and management
• Strong communication skills and comfortable with client interaction
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to follow safety procedures

• Familiarity with VDSL, AAA, site-to-site VPN tunnels, VMWare and virtualization, basic Linux commands, wireless point-to-points, or scripting/light programming
• Experience with equipment such as Ruckus, HP Pro Curve, Aruba, Brocade, Meraki, RG Nets, pf Sense, or Cisco

We are headquartered in Clearwater, FL, with installers located throughout the US. This role requires substantial travel; remote applicants should be near an airport to facilitate travel.

Salary: $70,550.00 - $95,450.00
