Application Support Analyst - ETL/Ab Initio

Contract Duration: 6+ Months
Required Skills & Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in application development and/or application support.
- 3+ years in Ab Initio and database related projects.
- 3+ years with Unix commands, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, ETL, Web Sphere, job scheduling tools, and system monitoring tools like App Dynamic.
- Knowledge of IT service process ITIL and a Dev Ops mindset.
- Knowledge of finance accounting domain.
- Attention to detail and troubleshooting log analysis skills across application components.
- Knowledge of Ab Initio, Hadoop and shell scripting.
- Perform technical operational tasks on a routine basis within OLA.
- Troubleshoot issues reported by users and issues self‑detected within SLA; independently resolve all known issues and 80% of newly occurred issues, including data investigations.
- Monitor and recover all processes.
- Maintain environment stability.
- Coordinate with Level 3 Ad Development team to resolve issues in PROD environment and provide feedback.
- Collect environment improvement points and provide a plan to Development team and application owners.
- Plan and coordinate release knowledge sharing, migrations, and disaster recovery documentation.
- Provide knowledge and support training for new team members.
- Develop support scripts and simplify issue‑investigation scripts.
- Take lead on new implementations and rollouts.
