Minimum Qualifications Summary- Must possess a current US Passport with ability to travel and work overseas.
- Must be able to meet COMSEC briefing and Local Element management certification requirements under the OPNAVINST 2201.4, DoD Instruction 8523.01 and Air Force Manual 17-1301.
- Must possess a SECRET Security Clearance.
- Preferred:
Experience and operational knowledge of exercise objectives, concepts, METLs, training plans, budgets, force deployment data, tables of organization, and force protection plans. - Preferred:
Experience and operational knowledge of MARCENT Joint Training Information Management Systems (JTIMS). - Ten years’ military experience.
Under a five-year contract, the Exercise Analyst will support the United States Marine Corps Forces, Central Command (MARCENT) and subordinate commands. The scope of the requirement includes professional services for MARCENT located aboard Mac Dill Air Force Base (AFB), Florida, which serves as a Component Command to U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM). Specifically, the Exercise Analyst will support the Plans and Policy Directorate (G-5) within the continental United States (CONUS) and outside the continental United States (OCONUS).
The G-5 assists and advises the COMUSMARCENT in joint-level and service-level planning, deliberate planning, crisis action planning, force deployment planning, Information Operations (IO), Special Technical Operations (STO)/Special Access Programs (SAP), command strategy and policy generation, doctrine review and analysis, Naval, command relationships, componency, security cooperation, CENTCOM exercises, Key Leader Engagement (KLE), operational assessments, and requirements development, validation, and prioritization.
- Provide exercise analysis services that support MARCENT exercise design, planning, execution, and assessment.
- Assist in the management of the MARCENT Exercise Program.
- Assist in the development and review of exercise objectives, concepts, METLs, training plans, budgets, force deployment data, tables of organization, and force protection plans to ensure they meet requirements identified by higher headquarters and comply with Joint Staff and Service doctrine.
- Maintain MARCENT exercise-related web pages, historical files, and other required documentation.
- Maintain MARCENT Joint Training Information Management Systems (JTIMS) data.
- Plan and coordinate all requirements for exercise planning conferences; including writing message traffic, developing presentations, and arranging for travel and hotel accommodations.
- Organize and assist with exercise planning conferences and site surveys.
- Compose weekly briefings to COMUSMARCENT, the MARCENT Staff, and external units.

- Travel:
Contractor personnel must support the projected travel in support of government requirements to MARCENT AOR and supporting locations, which includes but not limited to the following countries:
Bahrain, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, France, Germany, United Kingdom, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, Israel, Afghanistan, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Djibouti, Cyprus, Turkey, Italy, and Greece. The ideal candidate will be available for travel on less than 24 hours’ notice to support personnel recovery and training for forward deployed forces. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to execute OCONUS travel throughout the Central Command (CENTCOM) AOR.
