We’re looking for a Technical SEO & Website Optimization Specialist to enhance, maintain, and optimize our digital presence. This role is critical to ensuring our Word Press websites meet the highest SEO standards, maintain top-tier site performance, and drive measurable growth in organic search rankings.

What We’re Looking For:
  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience in technical SEO and Word Press website optimization.
  • Expertise in technical SEO tools (SEMRush, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of Word Press, including plugin and theme management.
  • Experience with Cloudflare and Flywheel hosting.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript as they relate to SEO.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Detail‑oriented, proactive problem solver with a passion for improving website performance.

What You’ll Do:

Technical SEO & Performance Optimization
  • Conduct comprehensive site audits using SEMRush, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools to identify and resolve issues impacting crawlability, indexability, and site health.
  • Optimize site architecture and internal linking strategies to enhance navigation and search engine visibility.
  • Implement and maintain structured data/schema markup to improve rich search results.
  • Monitor and resolve crawl errors, broken links (404s), and redirects to ensure seamless user and bot experience.
  • Optimize for Core Web Vitals, ensuring fast load speeds, visual stability, and interactivity.
  • Manage XML sitemaps and robots.txt for efficient search engine crawling.
  • Ensure mobile‑first indexing best practices are met for responsive design and performance.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and keyword tracking to identify ranking opportunities.
  • Perform backlink analysis to maintain a high‑quality link profile.
  • Manage citation listings using YEXT and other citation management tools to ensure accurate business information across directories.
  • Maintain detailed records of SEO activities, tracking keyword rankings, technical adjustments, and performance improvements.
Website Maintenance, Optimization & Webpage Creation
  • Manage Cloudflare to optimize website performance, including security enhancements, CDN configuration, and DDoS protection to improve site speed, ensure uptime, and provide a safer browsing experience.
  • Oversee Flywheel hosting, ensuring optimal website performance, security, and backups.
  • Perform routine website maintenance, including Word Press plugin, theme, and core updates.
  • Optimize websites for mobile responsiveness, page speed, and core web vitals compliance.
  • Create and update landing pages using the Divi Builder to support marketing initiatives.
  • Execute minor website updates, such as text revisions, image uploads, and layout adjustments, to keep content fresh and relevant.
Google My Business (GMB) Optimization
  • Manage and optimize Google My Business listings for improved local SEO visibility.
  • Ensure NAP (Name, Address, Phone Number) consistency across directories.
  • Monitor and respond to GMB reviews, engaging with users and addressing feedback.
  • Merge old or duplicate GMB profiles and clean up outdated listings to maintain a strong and accurate online presence.
  • Track and analyze GMB insights to measure performance and engagement.
SEO & Content Optimization
  • Conduct keyword research to identify high‑impact opportunities for organic growth.
  • Analyze and optimize on‑page elements, including title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and internal linking structures.
  • Collaborate with content teams to ensure SEO best practices are applied to all new and existing content.
Data Analysis and Reporting
  • Generate in‑depth monthly and quarterly reports on organic SEO and paid search efforts.
  • Implement and monitor conversion tracking metrics and key data points to evaluate campaign success.
  • Utilize SEMRush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other tools to track SEO performance.
  • Conduct advanced data assessments using Excel, uncovering trends, insights, and opportunities.
Staying Ahead of SEO Trends
  • Keep up with Google algorithm updates and industry best practices.
  • Identify and implement emerging SEO strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to inform SEO growth strategies.
