Required Qualifications
- A DoD security clearance at the TS/SCI level is required.
- Min 9 years with HS Diploma, 7 years with AS/AA degree, 5 years with BS/BA, or 3 years with MS/MA.
- 10% travel requirement within CONUS.

Peraton requires Information Technology Specialists to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 EOM. This position is located at Mac Dill AFB in Florida.
The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (Net Ops); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support;
provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.
- Providing incident response using multiple software applications, including Remedy.
- Providing installation, tuning, testing, operating, monitoring, upgrading, patching, break/fix, defense, and management of WAN and LAN routing and switching infrastructure hardware and software including network hardware and software.
- Installing, configuring, imaging and maintaining desktop and laptop PCs, mobile devices, and peripherals, such as printers.
- Install, configure, upgrade, patch, optimize and monitor operating system (OS) software applications.
- Removing antiquated IT equipment and perform data migration to new machines.
- Installing, maintaining, and assessing current and future telecommunications systems and equipment.
- Installing new cable/fiber. Terminating and testing new cable/fiber. Testing and troubleshooting faulty cable/fiber.
- Analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving system hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining VTC endpoints.
- Comply with cable routing from communication rooms to Consolidation Points (CPs) and from CPs to furniture jacks, terminating/troubleshooting, connecting from furniture plate to devices.
- Disposal of excess and of end-of-life equipment.
- Label all cables, patch panels, CPs and other devices IAW SOCOM Standard.
- Unpack and dispose of all packing and excess materials.
- Transporting equipment between locations as required.
- Installing network devices in communication room i.e. patch plates, routers and switches.
