Opportunity Overview:

We are seeking a Sr Data Analyst with 3 to 6 years of experience in SQL, reporting, and database management. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of building efficient SQL pipelines, developing clear and insightful Power BI dashboards, and maintaining high standards of data integrity. This position plays a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making across the organization and involves close collaboration with both cross-functional stakeholders and data science teams to translate complex data into actionable business insights.

The role is Hybrid based in Tampa, FL!

Your Day-to-Day:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable SQL pipelines, DOMO and Power BI dashboards.

Design and maintain complex SQL queries for reporting, ad-hoc analysis, and data quality.

Apply data modeling best practices to structure datasets for efficient, scalable reporting.

Build and optimize Power BI reports using Power Query, DAX, and data modeling techniques.

Ensure data accuracy through validation, quality checks, and adherence to governance standards.

Deliver actionable insights through clear visual storytelling and analytical problem-solving.

What We’re Looking For:

Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, CTEs, window functions, and performance tuning.

Power BI expertise, with experience building dashboards, KPIs, and interactive reports using DAX, Power Query, and effective data modeling.

Data visualization proficiency, with a solid understanding of design principles and data storytelling to communicate insights clearly.

Analytical mindset with strong business acumen—able to identify trends, root causes, and contextualize insights within financial or operational domains.

Educational background in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.

3–6 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tools.

Exposure to data governance and quality frameworks is a plus.

Familiarity with cloud databases (e.g., Azure SQL, Snowflake, Redshift) and experience supporting cross-functional projects in business domains like finance or operations is preferred.
