Oracle DRM Techno-Functional Consultant

Job Description

• 7–10 years of experience in DRM/EDMCs modules implementation or support.
• In-depth knowledge of EDMCS & DRM features, including applications, viewpoints, nodes, hierarchies, data management, version creation, property creation.
• Experience in establishing and enforcing data governance frameworks and policies.
• Ability to develop and configure integration points with other Oracle EPM and ERP systems.
• Design and implement data models, including master and alternative hierarchies.
• Understanding of enterprise data management concepts and their alignment with financial and reporting processes.
• Strong ability to identify issues, analyze requirements, and develop effective solutions.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

• Data Modeling & Hierarchy Management:
  Design, develop, and maintain data models, hierarchies, and metadata structures within Oracle DRM.
• Data Governance:
  Implement and manage data governance processes and business rules to enforce enterprise policies and ensure data integrity.
• System Integration:
  Integrate Oracle DRM with other enterprise systems, such as Hyperion, BI tools, and data warehouses, for seamless data flow.
• Data Transformation & Validation:
  Develop and maintain data mappings, transformations, and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Automation:
  Develop automation scripts for data loading, extraction, and transformation to streamline processes.
• Technical Support:
  Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize the DRM system for performance and scalability.
• Collaboration:
  
  Work with business analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
  Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into EDMCS configurations.
• Solution Design & Configuration:
  Design EDMCS structures, including applications, viewpoints, and node types, to meet data management requirements.
• Data Management & Governance:
  Define and implement data management workflows, validation rules, and governance processes to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
• Integration:
  Set up and manage integrations between EDMCS and other Oracle EPM/ERP systems (e.g., EPBCS, FCCS, Oracle ERP Cloud) to synchronize master data.
• Metadata & Data Loading:
  Load and manage metadata, often using import and request‑driven processes, to build and maintain data models and hierarchies.
• Technical Configuration:
  Develop custom logic using derived properties, node type converters, and conditional subscriptions to automate data management and streamline processes.
• Application Lifecycle Management:
  Manage the migration of EDMCS applications between different environments, such as from lower to upper environments.
• Reporting & Extracts:
  Create extracts and exports from EDMCS to support data analysis and downstream reporting needs.

• Stakeholder management – engaging CFOs, Controllers, Finance leadership.
• Excellent communication & presentation skills for business and technical audiences.
• Strong project management and Agile/Scrum methodology experience.
• Mentoring/leading functional consultants and developers.
