The Information Operations (IO) Support Analyst supports the Communications Directorate in planning and executing information operations for MARCENT within the USCENTCOM AOR. This role contributes to development, planning, and execution of IO, analyzes operational environment factors impacting IO activities, assists in drafting and delivering IO reports and products, and coordinates IO support with higher headquarters. With 7–10 years of experience, the analyst brings technical expertise in IT and IO systems, including server, workstation, and network operating systems, Joint Planning Tools (e.g., JOPES, DCAPES), IO management platforms (e.g., GEMINI, WebTAS), ISR platforms, cyber/EW support systems, and social media monitoring and assessment tools.
By integrating technical and operational skills, the IO Support Analyst ensures MARCENT information operations are effective, aligned with higher headquarters, and responsive to dynamic operational environments.

- Support development, planning, and execution of information operations.

- Leverage ISR platforms, cyber/EW systems, and social media monitoring tools to enhance IO efforts.
- Provide support to MARCENT staff in assessment and influence modeling activities.
- Assist in development of SOPs and best practices for IO support activities.
- Support integration of IO assessments into operational planning cycles.
- Maintain compliance with MARCENT administrative procedures and reporting requirements.
- Ensure IO support documentation is archived according to records management standards.

Education/Experience/Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree required; IT or related field preferred.
- 7–10 years of experience in IO, public affairs, or related fields.
- DoD IAT Certification Level I or above or SEC+ certification.
- CISCO Voice/Video certification and Microsoft System certification preferred.
- Expertise in server, workstation, and network operating systems.
- Experience with Joint Planning Tools (e.g., JOPES, DCAPES).
- Proficiency in IO management tools such as GEMINI and WebTAS.
- Knowledge of ISR platforms, cyber/EW systems, and social media monitoring tools.
- Experience with assessment and influence modeling platforms.
- Secret clearance required.
- Strong analytical skills to assess IO impacts within the operational environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills for preparing IO products and reports.
- Ability to coordinate IO planning with higher headquarters and joint partners.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and IT systems relevant to IO activities.
Primary workplace is MARCENT Headquarters, Mac Dill Air Force Base, Tampa, Florida. Office environment within a joint military/civilian/contractor staff. Includes direct coordination with MARCENT staff, CENTCOM, and joint IO teams.
Physical DemandsPrimarily sedentary office work with extensive computer use. May involve travel to support IO planning and coordination events.
Work ScheduleFull-time, 40 hours per week. Monday–Friday, 0800–1600. May require flexibility during IO operations or surge requirements.
License and Other RequirementsValid U.S. Driver’s License. Eligibility for issuance of a Common Access Card (CAC).

Security ClearanceSecret clearance required.
TravelMay include CONUS and OCONUS travel to support information operations activities and coordination with partner organizations.
