Business Analyst – Infrastructure & Cloud
Location: Tampa, FL or Dallas, TX (Hybrid/Onsite as required)
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong focus on infrastructure initiatives to support and drive multiple concurrent technology projects. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating infrastructure and cloud requirements into clear, actionable documentation. This role requires someone comfortable operating in a fast‑paced environment, managing competing priorities, and contributing to project planning and delivery activities.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as the primary liaison between infrastructure, cloud, security, and application teams and business stakeholders
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for infrastructure‑related initiatives (e.g., data centers, networks, servers, storage, cloud platforms)
- Develop and maintain requirements documents, user stories, process flows, and technical specifications
- Support multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring scope, timelines, and dependencies are clearly understood
- Partner with Project Managers to assist with project planning, status tracking, risk/issue identification, and stakeholder communications
- Participate in cloud‑related initiatives, including migrations, upgrades, or optimization efforts (AWS, Azure, or GCP exposure preferred)
- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and requirement‑gathering sessions with cross‑functional teams
- Support testing and validation efforts, including UAT coordination and defect tracking
- Ensure alignment of solutions with enterprise architecture, security, and compliance standards
- Provide ongoing support through project implementation and transition to operations
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in infrastructure‑focused environments
- Hands‑on experience supporting infrastructure projects (networking, servers, storage, operating systems, data centers, or cloud)
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar)
- Experience working on multiple projects concurrently
- Some Project Management experience, including scheduling, dependency management, and stakeholder coordination
- Strong documentation and communication skills with both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Proficiency with BA/PM tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, Visio)
- Experience in large enterprise environments
- Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies
- Exposure to ITIL or infrastructure service management concepts
- Prior experience in financial services, healthcare, or regulated industries (optional)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt quickly in a changing technical environment
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable influencing without direct authority
