Network Administrator

OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join the Infrastructure Network team. This role will ensure secure, reliable, and high-availability network communications across data centers and remote sites, supporting 24/7/365 operations. The ideal candidate will have strong Cisco networking expertise, hands‑on troubleshooting experience, and the ability to design, secure, and optimize enterprise‑scale networks.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure daily operation and high availability of Wide Area Networks (WANs) spanning multiple data centers and remote sites
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco LAN, WAN, and wireless technologies (Cisco WLC, Catalyst IOS, Nexus Series, etc.)
Design network systems (LAN, WAN, Intranet, Internet) that meet business and security requirements
Support network hardware through updates, testing, and lifecycle refreshes
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot server, client, and application connectivity or performance issues
Implement, monitor, and optimize traffic flow using network management tools
Secure network systems by enforcing policies and monitoring access
Maintain and update configuration documentation and monitoring systems
Analyze requirements to develop technology roadmaps and frameworks
Perform modeling, planning, and budgeting for network infrastructure
Plan and execute network installations, migrations, and test plans
Identify and upgrade existing network components to achieve optimization
Audit infrastructure for compliance with internal standards and policies
Provide mentorship to junior team members
Participate in an on‑call rotation and respond to emergencies as required
5 7 years of experience in enterprise‑scale network administration (Cisco Routing, Switching, VPN, ISE, WLAN, Firewall)
Hands‑on expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining WAN/LAN and wireless environments
Strong knowledge of OSI layers, Wi‑Fi, IPSec, EIGRP, DNS/DHCP, and firewall security
Proficiency with SNMP, monitoring, and network management tools (Wire Shark, Net Scout, NPM, etc.)
Strong documentation, planning, and project execution skills
Excellent communication skills and ability to lead root cause analysis
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or equivalent certification
10 years of network administration/architecture in enterprise environments
Experience with disaster recovery planning and implementation
Knowledge of DDOS attacks, mitigation techniques, and best practices
Familiarity with Linux and/or Windows operating systems
Experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware vSphere)
On‑site role with standard business hours and potential for non‑standard schedules (nights, weekends, holidays)
Must be able to respond promptly during emergencies or critical events
Physical requirements:
ability to sit/stand at workstations for extended periods and lift up to 10 lbsMust successfully pass background investigation, drug screening, and security vetting
Must reside within Florida or be willing to relocate
Valid Driver’s License may be required depending on assignment
