Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Consultant with 5‑10 years of experience in the Power & Utilities industry or consulting within the sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in regulatory compliance, a deep understanding of operational processes, and the ability to lead risk and controls project teams. Candidates must have experience implementing or using ERP tools such as SAP, Oracle, Maximo, etc.

You will operate as a fieldwork leader to assist clients in employing proper information systems, resources, and controls to maximize efficiencies and minimize risk. You will work with client personnel to analyze, evaluate, and enhance information systems facilitating internal control processes, and assist other risk professionals in performing IT control and security engagements.

  • Lead and manage projects focused on regulatory compliance within the Power & Utilities sector.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance operational processes and efficiency.
  • Drive risk and controls project teams, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify compliance challenges and develop tailored solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements and industry trends.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's or master’s degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Power & Utilities industry or consulting in the sector.
  • Proven experience in regulatory compliance and understanding of operational processes in Power & Utilities, particularly Work Management, Asset Management and/or Utility accounting.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive project teams effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Willingness to work in excess of standard hours when necessary. A valid passport is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Specialized degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMP, Six Sigma, CPA, CA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CBCP, CIA, CIPP, CGEIT are desired. Non‑certified hires are required to become certified to be eligible for promotion to Manager.
Benefits and Compensation
  • Comprehensive compensation and benefits package, with base salary ranges: $87,800 to $160,900 nationwide; $105,400 to $182,800 for key metro areas. Additional benefits include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and paid time off.
  • Hybrid model encouraging 40–60% onsite collaboration for external client roles.
  • Flexible vacation policy based on personal circumstances with grant of additional time off for EY Paid Holidays and other leaves.
