- Deploy the Legion Intelligence product in US government compute environments using Flux, Terraform, Kubernetes/Docker, and related technologies.
- Develop automation scripts for provisioning, monitoring, backing up, patching, and deploying the Legion product and underlying services.
- Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery capabilities for deployed applications.
- Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Integrate the Legion product with external authentication and authorization systems in government production environments.
- Integrate the Legion product with third‑party mission data systems in production environments (MS SharePoint, Palantir Foundry, etc.).
- Collaborate with product Dev Ops Engineers to establish best practices and company‑wide guidelines.
- Work closely with product software engineering teams to integrate their project deliverables into customer production cloud and on‑premises environments.
- Leverage system and application health monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Open Telemetry, Vector) to maintain application health, diagnose problems, and facilitate remediation.
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and work with customers, partners, and internal development teams to identify root causes and resolve them.
- Prepare packages required for Authorization to Operate (ATO), Certification to Field (CTF), and other security requirements presented by US Government Risk Management Frameworks (RMF).
- Enforce compliance with security best practices and policies.
- Stay current with new Dev Sec Ops technologies and recommend innovative solutions that increase value and improve efficiency.
- Must be on‑site at Mac Dill.
- An active US Department of Defense or Intelligence TS/SCI clearance.
- A BS degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
- CompTIA Security+ Certification.
- 4+ years of experience as a Dev Ops or Dev Sec Ops Engineer, or equivalent software‑engineering role.
- 2+ years of experience deploying software and/or managing software deployments in US Government classified networks.
- Extensive experience deploying and managing software in AWS, Azure, GCP, and/or Oracle Cloud environments, as well as on‑premises data centers.
- Strong experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, especially Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Experience delivering software to multiple environments using Git Ops or similar automation and configuration management technologies.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git Lab, Git Hub Actions, ArgoCD, etc., and a willingness to learn and adopt new ones.
- Experience deploying rapidly evolving software and maintaining a flexible deployment paradigm to enable rapid iteration.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, partner vendors, end users, and cross‑functional teams.
- Experience writing and leveraging infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform or similar).
