Peraton requires Systems Administrators to support the Special Operations Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) at Mac Dill AFB, Florida. The role provides network operations, infrastructure maintenance, and end‑user support over eight years.
Responsibilities- Deploy VMs to an operational state, install OS, patches, upgrades, and manage snapshots in vCenter.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system hardware, software, and networking issues.
- Configure, optimize, fine‑tune, and monitor OS software and hardware.
- Perform system daily checks and submit action incidents and CRQs in Remedy.>
- Build servers on VMware and Nutanix hypervisors.
- Install and renew certificates for infrastructure components.
- Document, analyze, and troubleshoot system anomalies to maintain performance.
- Maintain Nutanix components and network access; develop standard operating procedures.
- Support identity management roles, policies, permissions, hardware, and software.
- Work shifts and weekend assignments; shift work required.
- Minimum 9 years experience with HS Diploma, 7 years AS/AA, 5 years BS/BA, or 3 years MS/MA.
- Minimum 2 years as a Systems Administrator or 3 years in complex end‑user desktop and mobile device support.
- Background in VMware, Nutanix, Dell, HP, and Cisco systems used by the Government.
- DoD TS/SCI clearance required.
- DoDD 8570.01‑M IAT II compliance.
- MCSA or Microsoft Certified Associate in relevant area.
- VMware Certified Associate (VCA).
- Experience with Nutanix (highly desired).
