Information Technology Engineer

Overview

Fizen Technology is seeking a full-time Information Technology Level 2 Engineer in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. This role requires experience with hardware and network configuration
, including building servers, configuring RAID arrays, installing and managing routers and firewalls
, and supporting physical infrastructure. The IT Engineer will handle support duties

• Configure and deploy servers, storage systems, and network hardware
• Set up and maintain RAID arrays and backup systems
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless devices
• Respond to Level 1 and Level 2 helpdesk tickets
• Monitor and maintain network security and uptime
• Support client onboarding and infrastructure upgrades
• Document technical processes and configurations

• Proven experience in configuring and supporting IT infrastructure
• Strong troubleshooting and technical support skills
• Hands-on experience with physical hardware, server builds, and networking gear
• Familiarity with network security principles and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or CCNA preferred
• Experience in an MSP or fast-paced IT support environment is a plus
