IT Business Senior Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an IT Business Senior Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location.

Design and execute database application modeling, including documentation of application defects. Analyze financial data from multiple relational databases and propose solutions to support business programs and regulatory projects. Gather financial data requirements, translate them into technical requirements, and communicate expected functional behavior. Ensure data integrity and consistency is maintained across multiple pricing applications. Create business requirement and functional requirement documents. Translate business logic into functional requirement and formulate Unified Modeling Language diagrams using Microsoft Visio and PowerPoint.

Create project plans with timeline, track project milestones, and provide progress updates to management and stakeholders with risks and deadlines. Maintain data integrity by identifying potential data quality issues that would create coverage gaps and normalizing disparate data sets into a common logical model. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects leveraging different enterprise reference data platforms. Create test use cases, validate functionality, and communicate results to stakeholders.

Analyze business processes for systems enhancement and automation. Prepare and gather information to support internal and external audit reports. Identify control gaps in processes. Identify risks, conduct impact analysis to determine business implications, and provide timely strategic solutions. Manage REST API calls via Swagger to fetch and analyze data. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requires a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Systems, Business Administration or related field and two (2) years of experience as an IT Business Intermediate Analyst or related position executing software tests, performing business data and operation process analysis, maintenance and enhancement, and data mining. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor’s degree in the stated fields and four (4) years of the specified progressive, post-baccalaureate experience.

Full span of experience must include:
Quality assurance testing, including regression testing, smoke testing, user acceptance testing, integration testing, functional testing, negative testing, and system end to end testing;
Data warehousing, data mining, data visualization, database management systems;
Information system change management;
Information system workflow diagram, structure chart, screen mockup and UML diagram creations using Microsoft Visio;
Business requirements and functional requirements documentation;
Project management; and Oracle database, SQL, shell script, JIRA.
