Systems Engineer, IT Support
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent DoD 8570 Level II certification
- OR
- Microsoft Cloud Certification (Azure, Office 365) or relevant experience working in Active Directory environments.
- OR
- Advanced Networking Certification (CCNA, Network+)
- 3 years' experience working in a Level 1 or higher support role.
Essential Functions:
- Exemplary customer service record
- Lead Support engineer for 75 users across 3 sites located in Tampa.
- Work in a team as well as individually
- Implement new AEVEX networks and systems as needed
- Take the lead on individual infrastructure projects
- Support AEVEX's users and respond to help desk tickets as needed in other locations.
- Assist on ongoing programs requiring Information Technology knowledge
- Verify and maintain federal compliance for AEVEX's networks, systems, and users.
Qualifications and Education:
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong research and analytical capabilities
- Experience heading up technical projects (research to implementation).
- Active Directory, Office 365, and/or Azure Administration
- Familiarity with setting up/supporting Dev Tools such as Docker, Containers, Solidworks, CAD
- Windows (Server/Desktop) and Linux Operating Systems
- Networking (Basic Switching/Routing, PFSense Firewalls, VPNs)
- Virtualization (ESXi/Hyper-V/Cloud)
- Understanding of workstation, server, and network hardware
- Familiarity with SharePoint or other CMS
- Experience with security compliance (i.e. DFARS, CMMC NIST, PCI, HIPAA, etc.)
- Degree in Information Technology field of study
- Additional related Information Technology certifications
- Microsoft/Azure
- Scripting capabilities in one or more languages (primarily Powershell).
- Ability to obtain/maintain a security clearance, US Citizenship required
