Enterprise Workforce Management Product Analyst, Vice President

Enterprise Workforce Management (EWM) is a new capability at Citi that provides Citi leaders and managers with frameworks, standards, procedures, and tools to ensure adequate Organizational Health and Resource Management across the bank.

The Workforce Management Product Analyst is a strategic professional who ensures that EWM's technology capabilities support and enhance those processes. This role is responsible for supporting technology implementation of Citi’s efforts around staffing, skill adequacy, and organization design, with a strong emphasis on leveraging data and product insights to drive decisions and optimize workforce solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Firm understanding of the business and HR needs and priorities to inform the execution of workforce management/human capital strategy globally.
  • Leads projects and generates new ideas and conceptual frameworks to help solve problems, providing hands‑on delivery and creating insightful, data‑driven findings and recommendations.
  • Translates complex data into actionable insights for leadership.
  • Defines, tracks, and reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to workforce management initiatives and the adoption/impact of new workforce tools and features.
  • Collaborates closely with product managers and engineering teams to define data requirements for new workforce management tools/features, analyze user behavior, and measure the effectiveness of product enhancements.
  • Designs and executes A/B tests or similar experimental methodologies to evaluate the impact of different workforce strategies or tool functionalities.
  • Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
  • Expert ability to drill‑down, discern, analyze, and synthesize large datasets to provide deep insights for the business and product development.
  • Leads consultation on thought leadership for workforce planning, skills, and organizational development, leveraging quantitative analysis.
  • Actively partners with the Business, Technology & internal Enterprise Workforce Management pillars, globally to execute successfully on the strategy.
  • Sparks ongoing communication across the global business to engage all global employees in initiatives, processes, and updates.
  • Ensures the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of workforce data, working to establish and maintain robust data governance standards.
Qualifications
  • 6-10 years of experience in a data‑intensive role, preferably within Product Analytics, Data Analytics, or Workforce/HR Analytics.
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to diverse audiences.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL for advanced data extraction and manipulation.
  • Demonstrated expertise with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker) to create compelling dashboards and reports.
  • Experience with statistical programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis and modeling is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of statistical methods and their application to business problems, including A/B testing, regression analysis, and predictive modeling.
  • Familiarity with product analytics platforms (e.g., Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics) and concepts of user behavior analysis is a strong plus.
  • Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, with exceptional analytical, problem‑solving, and critical‑thinking skills. Proven ability to translate business questions into analytical frameworks and actionable recommendations.
  • Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred, in a quantitative field such as Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related discipline; managerial experience.
