Key Responsibilities
The AI Product Business Analyst role will support the Wealth Generative AI Solutions & Delivery team, working closely with business, technology, and control partners to accelerate the progress of AI across key client and advisor journeys. The individual will play a central role in managing the AI intake process, ensuring that new ideas and use cases are assessed, prioritized, and shepherded through the end-to-end delivery lifecycle — from initial concept to production deployment.
AI Intake & Pipeline Management: Partner with business sponsors and functional leads to collect and structure AI use cases, evaluate alignment with strategic priorities, and streamline them into the central execution pipeline. Ensure transparency and consistency in intake documentation, prioritization criteria, and tracking mechanisms from ideation through proof‑of‑concept to production deployment.
Governance, Documentation & Risk Alignment: Collaborate with governance, legal, privacy, and risk teams to ensure each AI initiative adheres to Citi’s control standards and required documentation processes, including data usage, model oversight, cross‑border engagement protocols, and related governance artifacts that ensure compliance while enabling timely execution.
Prototyping & Proof‑of‑Concept Development: Work closely with the AI Solutions team and technology partners to conceptualize and build quick visualizations, prototypes, or proof‑of‑conceptions that demonstrate the art of the possible. Facilitate iterative feedback loops with end users and business sponsors to validate functionality, refine user experience, and accelerate adoption readiness.
Qualifications0‑2 years prior experience in financial services and knowledge of banking products and concepts is a plus but not essential. A hands‑on problem solver with strong program management and analytical skills, capable of bridging business needs and AI technology. Comfortable working in an evolving environment, managing multiple stakeholders, and driving structure and governance around emerging technologies. A background or interest in AI, analytics, or data‑driven solution delivery within financial services or a comparable regulated industry would be highly beneficial.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build long‑term professional relationships.
Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience.
