Senior Scrum Master

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is in need of a Senior Scrum Master.

• Apply Agile principles, frameworks, and tools to drive squad success
• Coach Product Owner and squad on backlog health and user story refinement
• Balance delivery timelines with iterative feedback
• Align priorities and dependencies across squads
• Provide role‑based coaching and facilitate sessions
• Promote collaboration and awareness of product vision
• Create an inclusive environment for ceremonies and resolve conflicts
• Communicate progress, risks, and impediments clearly
• Support release planning and coordinate code movement
• Deliver projects within defined processes, budget, and timelines
• Build trust‑based relationships and resolve issues
• Drive continuous learning and process improvement
• Monitor squad capacity and promote sustainable execution
• Encourage experimentation and self‑sufficiency
• Integrate risk and control processes into daily work

• Certifications:
  
  Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, or equivalent Agile certifications
• Financial Services experience
• Great communication skills
• Stakeholder management skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
