The Opportunity

We are looking for a “player‑coach” to lead our IT Department. This is a hands‑on role where you will both supervise IT personnel and serve as a senior technical expert. You will be responsible for driving team goals, ensuring projects are completed on time, and mentoring your team.

At the same time, you’ll be on the front lines, providing exceptional customer service while installing, troubleshooting, and supporting servers, routers, software, copiers, printers, and more.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the Team: Supervise IT personnel, mentor and develop your staff, and ensure all internal and external projects meet their deadlines.
  • Manage Operations: Ensure all Help Desk calls are answered promptly, track project time, and make sure all client devices are reporting correctly on our DCA.
  • Oversee Installations: Manage the full install lifecycle, from pre‑install calls and ensuring requirements are understood to launching post‑install surveys.
  • Provide Expert Support: Act as the escalation point for tough technical issues. You’ll troubleshoot MFP installs (scanning, printing, faxing) and remote into customer computers.
  • Drive Client Success: Follow up with customers after installs to ensure satisfaction, liaise between sales and service departments to resolve issues, and provide product training to clients.
  • Be a Problem Solver: Research issues, maintain your product knowledge, and bring new ideas to help improve the department.
What You Bring
  • Experience: Proven, hands‑on technical experience with servers, routers, and associated peripherals. You must have a strong working knowledge of printing, scanning, and faxing.
  • Leadership: You are a natural mentor who can develop a team's technical and customer service skills.
  • Communication: You have strong interpersonal skills and can explain complex technical solutions in a user‑friendly, professional way.
  • Professionalism: You are organized, work well under pressure, and can multi‑task effectively.
  • Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Must have a valid, clean driver’s license and a reliable vehicle for travel throughout the Tampa Bay area.

Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Must be able to work flexible schedules as needed.
