- DTCC offers a flexible/hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days remote (onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays and a third day unique to each team or employee).
As an Application Support Engineer, you will provide 24x7 production support for DTCC’s critical applications, including DTCC Portal, CRM, BPM, Appian, Blue Prism, and AI tools. This role ensures operational resilience through proactive monitoring, incident prevention, and automation, while collaborating with development and product teams to maintain high availability and compliance standards. Candidates must be comfortable with rotational shifts and committed to delivering stability, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.
YourPrimary Responsibilities Incident Prevention & Analysis
- Deliver production support for critical applications, ensuring stability and performance.
- Analyze application systems to prevent recurring incidents and improve reliability.
- Review proposed application designs and provide feedback on gaps to business requirements.
- Monitor dashboards and observability tools (Splunk, NIA) to identify potential issues and prevent outages.
- Ensure automation produces expected results within defined thresholds.
- Utilize automation frameworks for proactive monitoring and validation.
- Gather documentation for audit requests and compliance reporting.
- Execute Disaster Recovery steps during planned/unplanned outages and collect BCM evidence.
- Align risk and control processes into daily responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk.
- Expand and maintain knowledge base and runbooks for supported applications.
- Collaborate within the team to resolve alerts and elevate issues as needed.
- Perform service account renewals/password changes, resolve production defects, and implement minor enhancements.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong background in application support and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Splunk and NIA dashboards.
- Solid knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
- Hands‑on experience with Appian, Blue Prism, CRS, and familiarity with AI models.
- Willingness to learn new applications and provide support.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, incident management, and production support best practices.
- Ability to work in a rotational 24x7 support schedule and manage hand‑offs effectively.
- Exposure to BPM tools (Appian), CRS systems, Blue Prisma and AI‑driven applications.
The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
