Overview

Service Delivery Center – Enterprise Program Management – Senior  is a leader in serving the global financial services marketplace. This role focuses on ensuring programs and projects are planned, managed, and governed with high-quality execution, enabling value realization from IT investments and supporting strategy, customer experience, and growth. This is a new group being developed in EY’s Service Delivery Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with technical, delivery, and management teams on coordinating roadmap views, tracking, planning, and risk/issue resolution; identify and manage cross-functional dependencies.
  • Create and develop project charters, scope, and schedules; plan and assign resources.
  • Centralize and automate reporting processes where possible; collaborate with Product and IT to meet business goals.
  • Establish procedures and monitoring controls with continuous improvement while upholding strong ethical behavior.
  • Advise and consult with other departments about production software issues and questions.
  • Manage resources, communications, and costs of projects.
  • Define project organization structures, identify key team members, and communicate the project plan to align members and stakeholders.
  • Conduct kickoff meetings with stakeholders to announce a project and gain consensus.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools; monitor progress, address variances, take corrective actions, and communicate results to stakeholders.
  • Negotiate priorities across multiple groups; manage changes to scope, schedule, and costs per the change management plan.
  • Identify risks, assumptions, and constraints; implement actions to minimize impacts.
  • Communicate roadblocks to leadership and facilitate resolution; develop remedies to obstacles.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders beyond IT, including finance, communications, and legal.
  • Improve team performance through leadership, mentoring, training, and motivation; foster collaboration.
  • Work with end users to understand business functions and document requirements; analyze current processes to identify gaps; document system requirements via process/workflow diagrams; maintain system protocols and end-user documentation.
  • Use EY tools for program and project management and provide thought leadership to grow the toolset and functionality.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and communicate with technical and management staff.
Skills and Qualifications

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2+ years of related experience preferred, with consulting or industry experience in complex program and portfolio management
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills; ability to deliver executive-level presentations
  • Experience in project delivery, including configurations, release, and change management
  • Knowledge of integration plans, integration reports, and test procedures
  • Experience scheduling and delivering multi-component implementations with interdependencies
  • Demonstrated project/program management skills in cross-functional coordination
  • Broad knowledge of IT and how IT enables business through governance and management disciplines

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Experience leading change in a Program Management setting
  • Experience in financial services or professional services industries
  • Experience working with executive IT or business leadership
  • Agile experience and certifications are a plus
  • Knowledge of standard IT methodologies and processes (PMBOK, PRINCE2, Six Sigma, CMMI, etc.)
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile CSM, SAFe)
  • Understanding of master scheduling and integrated project planning
  • Experience with enterprise Lean/PMO setups
