Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst

Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst for its Tampa, FL location.

Duties:
Develop, design, and maintain Tableau based reporting dashboards and analytics. Partner with technology and business departments to analyze and understand the requirements and perform feasibility study of the requirements. Work with business analysts to create user stories. Design, develop, and deliver the new reporting dashboards. Create data models, customer-specific dashboards, and analysis to enable data-driven assessment and recommendations for process optimization using analytical reports.

Analyze and identify the data requirements and data sources. Work with data owners to walkthrough the requirements and work with technology partners to procure the data needed. Create logical and physical data models which are required to store the data and build the dashboards. Perform report deployment in various environments, answer business queries, respond to production issues, and maintain existing reports.

Perform report analysis deployment in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) environments. Perform bug fixes and performance tuning. Coordinate development project plans, perform estimation, and oversee risk and issues. Create and maintain issue logs, meeting minutes, meeting schedules, project summaries, and updates. Update project schedules and project plans, estimating time and resources, monitoring milestone completion, tracking all phases of the project lifecycle, and providing timely reporting of issues that impact project progress.

A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Engineering Management, Computer Science, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation performing data analysis within the financial or IT industry. Five (5) years of experience must include:
Designing and developing client-facing reporting services using BI software implementation, Oracle, SQL DB, and deploying the services using CI/CD tools;
Serving as a report developer and reporting database design subject matter expert to bridge the requirements between the senior stakeholders and team members and provide aid to cross functional teams;
Delivering reporting applications with performance efficient code, zero vulnerability, and maximum unit and regression test coverage, and securing the Personal Identification Information data based on user entitlement, licenses, and protection policies to maintain the code repository in Confluence and perform peer code updates quarterly;
Performing periodic evaluation and automated alerting of reports performance, system usage, and reporting tool memory usage using BI tools including Tableau server and Vizsql;
Reducing or eliminating business-impacting reporting defects and enhancing system performance following SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Kanban, and tracking the project works and issues in JIRA; and Forecasting and predicting trends and insights using past and current data and visually representing in interactive dashboards. In the alternative, employer will accept a Master’s degree and three (3) years of experience. 40 hrs./wk.
