Overview

CGS is seeking a dedicated worker with exceptional experience in the eDiscovery space to support a large federal agency. In this position, you will be providing full‑time IT legal support services using various programs. As an expert programmer, you will develop, modify, and maintain complex programs to support litigation environment applications such as litigation support databases, management systems, and analytical systems.

Responsibilities
  • Independently develop, modify, and maintain complex programs
  • Translate program requirements into code
  • Test, debug, and refine programs to process data per specifications
  • Revise programs to increase efficiency and reduce operating time
  • Develop data entry screens and other user interfaces
  • Implement standardized reports and create specialized/ad hoc reports as required
Skills and Attributes for Success
  • Strong programming experience in the relevant systems environment
  • At least two years of directly applicable experience
  • At least three years of overall programming experience, including large‑scale database management systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Undergraduate degree preferably in computer science or a related discipline
Ideal Experience
  • Broad knowledge of government IT environments, including office automation networks, and PC and server‑based databases and applications
  • Supervisory or team leader experience
  • Experience in automated litigation support
