Job Description:

At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Mexican Linguist you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on a natively fluent language specialist, with a Mexican background to support a social media program in Tampa, FL. Preferred candidate will have the ability to read/write at a native fluency, with a thorough understanding of the area.

• Develops and maintains expertise with designated regional issues and draws upon publicly available online information resources.
• Reads, analyzes, and drafts communications regarding regional and ideological discussions in specified foreign language media environments.
• Examines current media statements or postings to support trend analysis and identifies key communicators.
• Demonstrates reading and writing expertise in the assigned language and incorporates custom social media solutions to comprehend online environments and communicate trends effectively.
• Supports operations planning.
• Demonstrates knowledge of online social media and different technologies, and documents activities, notes, informative papers, whitepapers written in English.
• Some travel may be required.

The likely salary range for this position is $77,350 - $104,650. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
