Summary:
We are seeking an experienced technology leader to oversee enterprise database operations, business analytics, reporting, and data governance initiatives. This role serves as the bridge between technical data management and business strategy, driving the development of scalable data solutions that enable informed decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead database administration, performance, security, backup, recovery, and capacity planning efforts
* Oversee data lake, data warehouse, reporting, and analytics initiatives
* Direct the development of dashboards, reports, and analytical models that provide actionable business insights
* Partner with business stakeholders to identify KPIs, reporting needs, and data-driven opportunities
* Manage data governance practices to ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance
* Lead database migrations, upgrades, and technology improvements
* Evaluate and implement AI-enabled solutions that improve efficiency and accelerate business outcomes
* Manage vendor relationships and cross-functional teams
* Present recommendations and findings to executive leadership Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or related field
* 7+ years of experience in database management, analytics, or data platforms
* 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams and/or vendors
* Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, database architecture, and data modeling
* Experience with data lakes, ETL processes, APIs, reporting, and business intelligence platforms such as Power BI or Tableau
* Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
* Prior software development, coding, or solution architecture experience
* Experience leading analytics, dashboarding, and self-service reporting initiatives
