Position: Financial Architect for Order Management Systems

Work Model: Hybrid (average 3.5 days in office)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead architecture strategy and technology transformation initiatives within a large-scale investment management environment. This individual will play a critical role in shaping the future-state architecture supporting front-office, middle-office, and back-office business functions.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of enterprise architecture expertise, investment management platform knowledge, and strong leadership skills. This role will partner closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, third-party vendors, and implementation partners to define strategic roadmaps, modernize platforms, and ensure alignment between business objectives and technology investments.

Key Responsibilities

Define and promote enterprise architecture standards, principles, and best practices across application, data, integration, infrastructure, and security domains.
Lead the architecture and design of solutions supporting investment management operations, portfolio management, trading, operational processing, and enterprise platform integrations.
Develop multi-year technology roadmaps that align business goals with future-state architecture objectives.
Evaluate existing technology solutions and recommend improvements, modernization strategies, and platform enhancements.
Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on architecture strategy, vendor selection, and technology direction.
Partner with business and technical teams to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise standards.
Guide the adoption of cloud technologies, data platforms, and integration frameworks to support long-term business growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support enterprise-wide transformation initiatives and large-scale technology implementations.
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and operational improvement.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
10+ years of experience across enterprise architecture, solution architecture, technical architecture, or business architecture roles.
7+ years of experience leading architecture initiatives, driving technical strategy, and mentoring technical teams.
Strong experience within wealth management, asset management, investment management, or financial services environments.
Deep knowledge of investment operations supporting front-office, middle-office, and back-office business functions.
Experience defining enterprise architecture standards, governance processes, and strategic technology roadmaps.
Strong understanding of application architecture, integration architecture, data architecture, and cloud-based technologies.
Proven ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership and executive management.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with investment management and portfolio management platforms.
Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, cloud architecture, and modern data platforms.
Experience with Azure services, enterprise APIs, and cloud transformation initiatives.
Familiarity with investment accounting, operational processing, and large-scale financial systems.
Experience leading complex enterprise modernization and digital transformation programs.
