Financial Systems Senior Architect

Description Kforce's client in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Financial Systems Senior Architect to support a sophisticated enterprise Finance and Financial Systems Technology environment. This position will provide architectural leadership across applications, infrastructure, cloud, development, cybersecurity, and automation while helping align technology strategy with long-term business objectives. The ideal candidate combines strong enterprise architecture experience with hands-on technical knowledge and the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain current- and future-state architecture models across technology, application, information, and infrastructure domains
* Create logical, physical, and process architecture diagrams and maintain technical documentation and standards
* Partner with Financial Systems Technology teams, project teams, and business stakeholders to evaluate solutions and recommend architectural approaches
* Provide technical guidance supporting projects, technology roadmaps, and strategic initiatives
* Collaborate with internal technology teams and third-party vendors to document and maintain the Financial Systems infrastructure landscape
* Research emerging technologies and assess their potential application within the organization
* Establish and communicate architecture standards, design principles, processes, and technology best practices
* Present technical concepts and recommendations in a clear, business-friendly manner
* Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge sharing to Financial Systems developers
* Coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders to drive enterprise technology initiatives forward
* Perform additional technical and strategic projects as needed Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
* Relevant industry certifications such as AWS, CISSP, Professional Cloud Solutions Architect, Open CA, or ITIL
* 4+ years of cloud architecture, technical design, and implementation experience
* 5+ years of experience architecting and delivering enterprise solutions across multiple architecture domains, including technology, applications, information, and infrastructure
* Experience working with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS delivery models
* Experience across major cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
* Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles and the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions5+ years of experience with programming and development technologies such as:
