Job Summary
This People Soft Admin & DBA role seeks an experienced Business Analyst with 8-12 years of experience in large-scale enterprise environments. The position combines strong analytical capabilities with hands-on expertise in IMS Administration, DB2 Administration, Administration Services, and People Soft environments. The analyst will work across functional, technical, infrastructure, and business teams to support People Soft platforms, optimize business processes, maintain system stability, and ensure operational excellence.

Working in a rotational-shift environment, this role requires strong troubleshooting, coordination, and problem-solving capabilities to support enterprise applications, middleware, and database technologies. The role also involves administration and support of People Soft FSCM applications hosted in multi-instance environments.

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on and coordinate with offshore teams.

• Diagnose and resolve People Soft, middleware, and database-related issues to ensure system stability, availability, and data integrity.

• Coordinate with functional, technical, infrastructure, and business teams to support implementations, testing, upgrades, and production deployments.

• Administer and support People Soft FSCM applications hosted on cloud platforms.

• Build, configure, debug, and support People Soft applications in multi-instance environments.

• Troubleshoot People Soft Internet Architecture (PIA), Tuxedo application servers, Process Scheduler, Web Logic, and web servers.

• Configure and support Integration Broker components, gateways, and nodes.

• Support People Tools upgrades, application upgrades, and system maintenance activities.

• Perform performance tuning and capacity planning activities.

• Support SSL/TLS configuration and certificate management.

• Troubleshoot Oracle database and infrastructure-related issues.

• Apply best practices for People Soft administration, maintenance, and operational support.

Mandatory Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant People Soft Administration experience supporting People Soft FSCM applications.

• Experience with People Soft 9.2 Financials and People Tools.

• Experience with Oracle 13c.

• Hands-on experience with Integration Broker configuration and troubleshooting.

• Strong experience with Tuxedo, Web Logic, Process Scheduler, App Server, and Web Server administration.

• Experience performing People Tools and application upgrades using Change Assistant.

• Knowledge of People Soft security architecture and PIA infrastructure.

• Experience with Performance Tuning, Capacity Planning, and Database Monitoring tools.

• Strong knowledge of SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, and Power Shell.

• Experience supporting People Soft applications in cloud-hosted environments.
