A growing professional services organization is seeking an experienced Director of Information Technology to oversee technology operations, strengthen IT infrastructure, and support continued business expansion. This individual will work closely with senior leadership to implement effective technology solutions while maintaining system security, reliability, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Oversee network infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications, and cloud-based systems.
- Lead internal IT personnel and coordinate external technology partners.
- Evaluate existing systems and implement improvements to enhance performance and scalability.
- Manage technology projects, software implementations, and system integrations.
- Establish data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.
- Support technology operations across multiple locations and departments.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and troubleshooting as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of IT experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud technologies, and enterprise systems.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 applications and business technology platforms.
- Familiarity with ERP systems;
Deltek experience is a plus. - Proven ability to manage IT projects, vendors, and technical teams.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Experience with in engineering, construction, or professional services preferred.
- Relevant IT or project management certifications are a plus.
- This is an on-site position with occasional travel required.
