Job Description

D365 Business Central Manufacturing Systems Analyst

Location: Tampa, Florida

Salary: Up to $130,000 base + benefits

Employment: Full-time, Permanent

Working Arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days in office / 2 days remote

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Analyst to join an established manufacturing business in Florida as it prepares to transition from Microsoft Dynamics GP to Dynamics 365 Business Central.

The company is investing in modernising its ERP environment, with a particular focus on improving production planning, inventory control, purchasing and supply chain visibility.

This is an opportunity to join during a major ERP transformation and play an important role in how Business Central is implemented across the manufacturing operation.

Working directly with Production, Supply Chain, Warehouse and IT teams, you'll help translate existing GP processes into a more connected Business Central environment, ensuring the system supports everything from raw material purchasing through to finished goods and distribution.

This isn't a traditional ERP support role. You'll have the opportunity to influence how Business Central is configured, support the implementation and become a key internal resource as the business moves into its new system.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Play a key role in the company's Dynamics GP to Business Central implementation, focusing on Manufacturing and Supply Chain functionality.
  • Work with production teams to map and improve processes across Bills of Materials (BOMs), Routings, Production Orders and Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
  • Analyse inventory movements, raw material availability, warehouse operations and production scheduling.
  • Gather requirements from Manufacturing, Purchasing and Distribution teams and translate them into Business Central functionality.
  • Work alongside the external Microsoft Partner on system configuration, data migration, testing and go-live preparation.
  • Support the migration of manufacturing and inventory data from Dynamics GP into Business Central.
  • Improve reporting around production performance, inventory accuracy, material consumption and stock availability.
  • Train operational users and help establish Business Central as the core system supporting day-to-day manufacturing activities.

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and ERP functionality, including BOMs, Production Orders, Routings or MRP.
  • Previous experience in a Manufacturing, Production or Distribution environment.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations, system improvements or business process changes.
  • Ability to work directly with production teams, understand operational challenges and translate them into system requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication and analytical skills.
  • Experience with Dynamics GP migrations, Power BI or ERP integrations is advantageous.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary up to $130,000, depending on experience.
  • Annual performance-related bonus.
  • 4 weeks of paid time off plus company holidays.
  • Hybrid working, 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
  • Medical, dental and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching.
  • Professional development and Microsoft certification support.
  • Opportunity to progress into Senior Business Systems Analyst or ERP Management.

Why Join?

Rather than joining a business where the ERP system is already established, you'll be involved in shaping how Business Central is introduced and used across the manufacturing operation.

You'll gain direct exposure to a major GP-to-BC transition, work closely with manufacturing leadership and take ownership of improvements that affect production efficiency, inventory accuracy and operational performance.

Following implementation, you'll have the opportunity to become a key internal Business Central specialist, supporting future system enhancements and the ongoing development of the company's manufacturing systems.

Apply

If you have Business Central experience, understand manufacturing operations and want to play a meaningful role in a GP-to-BC implementation, we'd like to hear from you.

US-based applicants only. Must be authorised to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship. Permanent W-2 employment only. Strictly no C2C, third-party recruiters, staffing agencies or contractor submissions.
