Broker Workers Compensation

Novatae Risk Group is a national wholesale/brokerage for hard‑to‑place commercial insurance coverages. We are seeking experienced Worker’s Compensation Brokers for your local area. Candidates should have a proven track record in the compensation markets. We are expanding our capabilities for revenue generation and have a very generous compensation package to offer.

• Oversee the preparation of Work Comp submissions, including applications and supporting documents.
• Effectively present accounts to insurance carriers and proactively secure compelling programs.
• Market new and renewal business with designated sales teams.
• Collect necessary information and analyze the current program.
• Order applicable underwriting reports as needed.
• Track submissions through the process and ensure quotes are provided promptly.
• Solicit new business through various sales and marketing techniques, building relationships.
• Coordinate and handle administrative workflows with the support team to ensure accurate and timely responses to service issues.
• Seek growth opportunities, cultivate new markets, and pursue organic expansion.

• Skilled in business writing and situational analysis.
• Energetic, self‑motivated, goal‑oriented individuals who thrive both in teams and autonomously.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in property and casualty insurance, including coverages, rating, terminology, and technical procedures. P&C license required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Sales‑driven “people person” who enjoys establishing new relationships and learning communication strategies and sales methods.
• Preferred: a four‑year college degree with 1‑3 years of related experience; past experience should include Worker's Compensation brokering or MGA experience.
