Sr Trial Attorney – Nationwide
Join Nationwide’s Trial Division, a national litigation team backed by the strength and purpose of a Fortune 100 company. We’re looking for a Senior Trial Attorney to lead high-impact insurance defense cases across Central Florida and beyond.
What You’ll Do- Serve as lead counsel on diverse civil litigation matters in Florida state courts (federal court experience is a plus)
- Manage cases from pleadings through trial
, including depositions, discovery, dispositive motions, and mediations - Collaborate with a trial-focused legal team and claims partners to deliver strategic, client-centered advocacy
- Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to a culture of excellence and innovation
- General liability (personal & commercial lines)
- Complex injury cases (TBI, surgical)
- Subrogation and products liability (a plus)
- No billing requirement – focus on impact, not hours

- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 8+ years of civil litigation experience in insurance defense or subrogation
- Strong trial advocacy skills and courtroom presence
- Tech-savvy, organized, and proactive case manager
