Butler Weihmuller Katz Craig LLP, an AV-rated, civil litigation firm, has an opening in its Tampa office for an appellate associate position with the firm’s appellate practice group. This group handles state and federal appellate proceedings and provides trial and litigation support.

The ideal candidate must have at least two years of prior appellate experience, either at a law firm or as a judicial law clerk.

The candidate must:

• have excellent writing and analytical skills;
• possess great time-management and communication skills;
• enjoy working in a team-oriented environment;
• be able to handle numerous projects at once in a wide variety of cases, some on an emergency basis; and
• have verifiable relevant work experience.
