The Commercial Counsel role will serve as the primary support to our General Counsel for our worldwide business. Reporting to the General Counsel, the successful candidate will provide efficient, effective and commercially minded legal counsel to minimize risk and ensure a robust compliance regime.
Responsibilities:- Draft, review, and negotiate major and/or non-standard technology contracts with public and private sector customers, including licensing agreements and professional services agreements for enterprise customers
- Assist in managing the company’s corporate records and governance
- Oversee Contracts team
- Identify legal and commercial risks and issues and assist with the development of solutions
- Keep up to date on changes to legislation, regulation, and relevant legal topics across multiple jurisdictions
- Serve as primary attorney on commercial deals and corporate governance with escalations to General Counsel
