Labor and Employment First Chair Litigator
Our client, an Am Law 200 law firm, is seeking an associate with a minimum of 8 years of litigation experience, including a minimum of 4 years as a first-chair litigator
, to engage in sophisticated and challenging employment law litigation work for clients in Florida and nationwide.
The right candidate will represent clients in a wide range of employment-related disputes, such as workplace discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, non-competition violations and other employment-related legal matters; candidate must be comfortable litigating in both state and federal court. Prior experience with labor and employment litigation is required.
Qualifications- JD from an ABA accredited law school
- Current admission to practice law in Florida
- Minimum of 8 years of litigation experience including labor and employment, with a minimum of 4 years of experience as a first-chair litigator
- Strong technological skills, including proficiency with practice management systems and portals
- Superior research skills, including the use of online services and databases
- Project management skills, including the ability to successfully manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and maintain a high degree of confidentiality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
