LHH is seeking an experienced Private Wealth Paralegal to join a respected law firm in Tampa, FL. This position is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional with a strong background in estate and trust administration, probate, and complex tax matters (Forms 706 and 709).
About the RoleThe Private Wealth Paralegal will work closely with attorneys to support high‑net‑worth clients in all aspects of estate planning and administration. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fiduciary procedures, tax filings, and probate requirements, along with the ability to manage multiple matters with precision and professionalism.
Responsibilities- Assist attorneys with estate and trust administration, including asset collection, valuations, and distributions
- Prepare and file estate (Form 706) and gift (Form 709) tax returns
- Draft and file probate documents and related court filings
- Maintain detailed estate and trust records, including accountings and inventories
- Communicate with clients, financial institutions, and fiduciaries to ensure smooth administration of estates and trusts
- Prepare correspondence, deeds, and other legal documents as needed
- Manage deadlines, track filings, and coordinate workflow with attorneys and staff
- 3+ years of experience as a paralegal in private wealth, estate planning, or probate law
- In-depth knowledge of estate, trust, and probate administration
- Experience preparing 706 and 709 tax forms required
- Paralegal certification or equivalent experience preferred
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and estate management software
