Prestigious Tampa Law Firm seeks a Litigation Paralegal to join their Team!

Responsibilities
  • Document and discovery management.
  • Drafting pleadings and motions, and trial/hearing support and attendance.
  • Experience tracking firm, attorney, and client expenses and using application software to process reimbursements and payments.
  • Knowledge and ability to participate in the client billing process, including assisting attorneys in entering narratives, tracking billable tasks, making edits, calendaring billing due dates, and delivering bills to clients in electronic and paper forms.
  • Schedule State court hearings in accordance with court requirements.
  • Understand court requirements to calculate deadlines and ensure the attorney and team meet them.
  • Schedule client and other appointments in coordination with the attorney.
  • Managing electronic and paper case files.
  • Handling incoming and outgoing mail and other correspondence. Answering, screening, directing, and placing telephone calls and emails
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of business litigation experience
  • Paralegal certificate preferred
  • Must demonstrate keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Capability to handle various tasks without error, set priorities, and accommodate rush requests.
  • Knowledge of legal terms and matters to ensure that submitted forms include all necessary related parties.
  • Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail.
  • Superior communication and customer service skills, demonstrating courtesy and diplomacy.
  • Physical attendance and punctuality at the workplace are required.
