Construction Litigation Attorney

Cole, Scott & Kissane seeks a Construction Litigation Attorney.

Location: Tampa, FL 33609

Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling and legal services to contractors, design professionals, developers, and individuals in disputes involving defect claims, torts, contractual issues, and other construction-related matters.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and argue dispositive motions.
• Attend site inspections, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Perform legal research and provide analysis of case law.
• Prepare pleadings and correspondence.
• Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel.

Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year of civil litigation experience, preferably in construction litigation.
• Excellent communication and writing skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
