Job Description
Trusts & Estates (T&E) Legal Assistant
Location: 100% In-Office
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (7.5 hours/day)
Support Structure: Will support 2–3 attorneys
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Trusts & Estates Legal Assistant to join our legal team in a full‑time, in‑office capacity. This role requires a minimum of 1–2 years of experience specifically in Trusts & Estates (T&E) law, and is ideal for candidates who are detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative and legal support to 2–3 attorneys specializing in Trusts & Estates.
- Draft and prepare correspondence, legal documents, and probate forms.
- Maintain client files and case management systems.
- Schedule appointments, manage attorney calendars, and coordinate meetings.
- Assist with estate planning documents, trust administration, and court filings.
- Interact professionally with clients, courts, and third parties.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1–2 years of Trusts & Estates legal assistant experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable working in a 100% in-office environment.
