LHH is currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant to support our Corporate and Tax practice group in our Tampa office. This is an in-person position offering the opportunity to work alongside a knowledgeable and collaborative legal team.
The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of relevant experience in corporate law and/or tax-related legal support, and will be comfortable managing a variety of administrative and case-related responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Assist attorneys with document preparation, filing, and organization related to corporate transactions and tax matters.
- Coordinate scheduling, calendaring, and communication with clients and internal teams.
- Support the preparation of legal forms, contracts, and correspondence.
- Maintain and update case files, databases, and client records.
- Conduct basic research and assist with compliance tracking and reporting.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- 2–5 years of experience in a legal assistant role, preferably in corporate or tax law.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal document management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
