Key Account Manager

Sensible Micro Corporation helps OEMs and manufacturers solve electronic component and supply-chain challenges through authorized distribution, independent sourcing, and strategic supply-chain programs.

We’re looking for an experienced Key Account Manager to manage and grow relationships with OEM and manufacturing customers.

This is a hands-on sales and account management role for someone who understands electronic components, sourcing, RFQs, and the fast-moving nature of the electronics supply chain. You’ll work closely with customers to understand their requirements, identify sourcing and supply-chain opportunities, manage quoting activity, and coordinate internally to deliver responsive and reliable solutions.

This is a full-time, in-office position in Tampa, Florida. We are currently considering local candidates only.

• Own and grow relationships with assigned OEM and manufacturing accounts.
• Conduct regular account reviews covering purchasing history, open RFQs, production demand, forecasts, service performance, and supply risks.
• Identify opportunities involving ongoing component requirements, shortages, obsolete parts, cost reduction, excess inventory, and supply assurance programs.
• Qualify and manage electronic component RFQs, including manufacturer, part number, quantity, target pricing, date code, lead time, packaging, condition, quality documentation, and delivery requirements.
• Coordinate sourcing and pricing, deliver accurate quotes, and maintain consistent customer follow-up.
• Build relationships across customer purchasing, supply chain, engineering, operations, and quality teams.
• Maintain accurate account, opportunity, RFQ, quote, follow-up, and pipeline activity in Hub Spot.
• Review purchase orders against accepted quotes and ensure accurate order entry and handoff.
• Partner with purchasing, quality, operations, and finance to meet customer requirements and delivery commitments.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 4+ years of account management experience.
• Experience in independent electronic component distribution, semiconductor distribution, electronics manufacturing, or a related supply-chain environment strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of electronic component manufacturers, part numbers, packaging, date codes, lead times, market availability, and quality/traceability requirements.
• Strong RFQ qualification, quoting, negotiation, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple customer priorities while maintaining speed, accuracy, and clear communication.
• Experience using a CRM and ERP/order management system.
• Strong relationship-building skills with purchasing, supply chain, engineering, operations, and quality contacts.
• Annual base salary plus commission opportunity
