Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse which includes shipping and receiving, purchasing, product delivery, hardware refurbishment, budgeting, inventory control, warehouse safety and housekeeping, and supervision of warehouse staff. Assess daily and weekly output, identify trends in productivity, and manage the allocation of people and equipment to address day-to-day variations in demand and capacity across all warehouses.
Essential Duties- Manage and account for over $20M of inventory located across the US. Accountable for all aspects of inventory control including ordering, receiving, stocking product, and processing orders
- Ensure transactions are entered timely for accurate counts on a daily
- Reconcile variances to physical counts and work with accounting and external auditors as needed
- Assess business conditions, evaluate business needs and take action to address short-term opportunities to improve service, reduce costs, and enhance operational results
- Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols through EHS partnership
- Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement
- Manage hardware refurbishment process
- Manage all aspects of supervising, training, scheduling and disciplining full-time and part-time managers/supervisors. Ensure all employees know and follow all rules, regulations, policies, and procedures of the warehouse
- Weekly audits of metrics associated with warehouse associate performance
- Responsible for budgetary evaluations for savings and managing expenses
- Oversee ongoing skills development and coaching, to improve job performance
- Identify gaps in effectiveness of work processes and worker performance, contributing to errors in inventory management and product losses (i.e., shrink), taking corrective action as needed
- Perform other duties as required

- Ability to work in a team environment to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvements in service quality
- High school education or GED
- 5+ years’ experience in a Management role in Warehouse and Equipment repair; ERP/MS systems
- Bachelor’s in Business or related field
- Experience using Microsoft Great Plains in a Warehouse and Order fulfillment environment
- Proficient knowledge of supply chain strategies and distribution systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (i.e., Excel, Word and Outlook)
- Proficient knowledge of compliance with management practices, company policies, procedures, and business ethics
- Understanding of Process and workflow requirements in a warehouse environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: stand, sit, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, squat, grasp and manipulate tools, safely use step ladders, lift up to 50 lbs., operate equipment such as pallet-jack and forklift, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and a variety of office equipment
