Job outline: The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for supervising and leading the maintenance staff in the day-to-day operations of campus, as well as the upkeep, appearance, and safety of the campus and all school facilities. The Facilities Supervisor ensures the completion of daily work orders, assists the Building Services Engineer (BSE) in basic MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) issues, and provides support for all campus activities and events, as needed.
This twelve-month hourly position reports to the Facilities Manager.
- Conduct daily walk-through of campus, buildings, property perimeter, and adjacent JHS properties, and create necessary work orders.
- Prioritize, assign, and review the quality of completed work orders, and update status.
- Provide school and third-party events with set-up, breakdown, and cleanup, as needed.
- Facilitate daily traffic control during arrival, dismissal, and for special events.
- Keep maintenance building, storage yard, and all storage spaces organized with proper list of inventories.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Excellent organizational, communication skills, and good technological proficiency.
- A minimum of five years of experience in a related facilities operational role.
- Level II Background Screening.
