A leading commercial contractor in the Southeast is seeking a Senior Superintendent to provide high-level field leadership on large, complex commercial construction projects. This role requires an experienced builder with exceptional communication skills, strong technical acumen, and the ability to lead multiple phases of construction while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.

As the senior on-site authority, you will oversee all daily field operations, mentor project teams, drive schedule performance, and serve as the key liaison between ownership, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.

The Senior Superintendent is responsible for managing and supervising all jobsite activities from preconstruction through project closeout. This includes advanced scheduling oversight, rigorous quality control, subcontractor leadership, safety enforcement, and overall field execution. This position requires full-time on-site leadership and a proven ability to deliver high-profile projects on time and within budget.

• Provide senior-level oversight of day-to-day field operations and ensure adherence to the project schedule and budget.
• Lead, mentor, and support Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent staff across all job phases.
• Conduct and facilitate advanced subcontractor coordination meetings to resolve conflicts and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Enforce strict jobsite safety protocols in alignment with corporate, OSHA, and project-specific requirements.
• Oversee QC processes, inspections, and documentation to ensure work meets all plans, specifications, and performance standards.
• Proactively identify risks, evaluate field conditions, and implement corrective actions to maintain momentum and avoid delays.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, inspectors, consultants, and trade partners.
• Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and critical path schedules; ensure seamless field execution.
• Manage daily and weekly reporting, site logistics planning, and progress tracking.
• Support project leadership with forecasting, manpower planning, procurement coordination, and project closeout.
• Lead by example—setting expectations for professionalism, communication, and jobsite culture.

• 15+ years of commercial construction experience
  , with 7+ years in a Superintendent role leading projects $10M–$50M+.
• Demonstrated success overseeing ground-up and/or complex renovation projects with multiple concurrent activities.
• Expert knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, sequencing, and field operations.
• Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, technical specs, and critical path schedules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
  Procore experience strongly preferred.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop field staff.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to represent the company professionally to clients and partners.
• Strong work ethic with a commitment to delivering projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
